As part of our ongoing work with GIS and machine vision, we’re proud to release our new application – papermap.io
Initially the result of a weekend hackathon, we’ve found that clients within the property development and architectural sector have embraced the application’s ability to overlay paper maps that have languished in drawers on a live, up to date digital map.
We’re also excited by the support received thus far from some of the largest archives of maps in the world, including the Library of Congress; one of their archival maps is below, take a look for yourself to see the results:
papermap is still very much in its early days and as such we’re looking for companies who have a wealth of paper based maps to work with – we want to know how this technology can be put to best use for you. Visit papermap.io to test it out or contact the papermap team here: firstname.lastname@example.org
